HIDROINŽENIRING d.o.o. has a long tradition in the design and execution of facilities in the field of general hydrotechnics, treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater, final management of specific types of waste of harmful properties and contaminated land clean-up.

As the leading Slovenian company in this field, it is providing support and solutions since 1971 to complex problems in the field of environment protection for the needs of the state, local communities, industry and other production and service activities. Specific activities include planning, execution of preliminary works, elaboration of technical solutions, preparation of technical documentation, management of construction of facilities and installation of equipments. During this period, Hidroinženiring has successfully solved a very large number of projects covering all activities relevant to the field of water and waste treatment. Cooperation between Hidroinženiring experts and universities in Slovenia and abroad is key to adapting our technology to the most demanding projects. Interdisciplinarity, experience and high qualification of staff enable us to successfully follow new trends and innovations in the field of environment technologies - leading to efficient water and waste management accounting for the natural use of soils and the protection of water resources.

During the last few years Hidroinženiring has been strongly present in projects funded by PHARE & ISPA, for example in Poso?je (Bovec, Kobarid), in the downstream (Krško, Brežice, Sevnica) and central part (Litija, Zagorje ob Savi, Trbovlje and Hrastnik) of the Sava river basin, in the coastal region of the country (Koper, Izola, Piran - Joint venture with consotium partner IEI), Protection of groundwater quality at Dravsko and Ptujsko polje (Joint venture with consotium partner IEI) in Ilirska Bistrica, Vipava, Nova Gorica, Sladki Vrh with Paloma paper mill, etc. It has also been present in the Krka river basin for many years where it has been involved in the preparation of projects in the field of waterworks, sewerage system and wastewater treatment plants.
