IEI d.o.o. (Slovenia)

IEI d.o.o. is a highly specialised engineering company active in the field of environmental policy in Slovenia. Its main activities can be classified into five main areas, namely:

• Engineering and designing activities linked to solid waste management (landfills, recycling, composting, waste management concepts), waste water treatment (sewerage system, wastewater treatment plants, pilot experiments, pumping stations) and water supply (water supply network, investigations and protection of water sources, pumping stations, preparation of drinking water)
• Implementation of policy partnership for accession and more recently implementation of the EU environmental legislation, with the preparation of documentation for EU-PHARE, ISPA, SAPARD and cohesion funds, the preparation of tender documentation, the selection of executers performers, the preparation of contracts or the implementation of a wide range of engineering tasks;
• Environmental impact assessment - from the assessment of the vulnerability of space, the development of specific environmental impact assessment studies for projects to more strategic environmental impact assessment;
• Laboratory-related activities, including hydraulic measuring, hydrologic measurements, ecological monitoring, modeling the hydrodynamic properties and quality of groundwater or the development of databases and water quality management systems.
